Posted on Sharon’s Facebook page by her son, Stephen Cohen:

To All:
This afternoon at 2:30pm Bama time -
I went with Mom on the last leg of her earthly journey for her cremation and last rites and final good-bye!

I prayed over mom before the process began and read two scriptures from the Bible as the process ensued;
1 Old Testament - Psalm 23:1-6
1 New Testament - Revelations 21:1-7
{NKJV - if anyone's wondering}

Mom chose to be cremated intentionally that in the end some of her ashes could be scattered at a few of her favorite places that were dear to her heart.

I will be taking some of her ashes in the near future to the green lush horse farm pastures of Kentucky and a beautiful spot here in Alabama on the Tennessee River.

Teddy will take some to the beaches of Surfside Beach, South Carolina and Colleen, will I'm sure, find a special little spot in Florida that she knows Mom will fall in love with!

So Mom's journey on earth is over and her eternal life as an angel of God begins! She will no doubt be one of HIS favorites. Although it would be interesting to see how Jesus handles Mom’s sweet but stubborn persona? Something tells me she's gonna be one of God's strongest Warriors of Light! Shine on Momma!

Mom specifically said that she did not want any Memorial Service given family and friends on both sides are all over the country and we are in Alabama, clearly a service would not really be practical.

The funeral home put an Obituary in the local Times Daily Newspaper and on the Spry Funeral Home Website. The link is below if anyone would like to make a comment - but this is why in part I set up Mom’s FB page!

Thank You - Everyone, those I know and those I don’t – It’s obvious Mom touched the lives and hearts of so so many and her one of a kind spirit will live on and in a part of each and every one of us forever!

May God Bless You All & May God Bless Sharon Ann Campbell, Cohen, Raymond!

My Sincere & Warm Regards,

Stephen Cohen
