Sandy, as she was known to her family, was born in Natick, MA. The first of four daughters of the late Gladys (Thorsen) Hayden and Frederick Hayden. Sandra graduated from Natick High School Class of 1961 and went on to graduate from Shepard Hill School of Practical Nursing, becoming a very successful R.N. in Massachusetts and Florida, her main focus being geriatric skilled nursing. Sandy was a survivor of Breast Cancer and was an avid supporter of medical research, taking part in several medical research studies, clinical trials, fundraisers and medical research projects including being one of the first Women to be part of The Framingham Heart Study.
Mrs. Annesi was the devoted wife of the late Charles J. Annesi. Together they were a team of entrepreneurs who started many businesses together including an Assisted Living Facility, ALF in Florida and their most successful endeavor SMT, South Middlesex Transportation, a limousine service that drove working professionals to and from Logan Airport in Boston MA. Sandra continued to work nights as an RN, her true passion. Charlie and Sandy were together for over 30 years before his death in 2012.

Sandy was known for her spirit of mystery and surprise, oftentimes showing up unexpectedly at your door in her nursing uniform ready to help out. Sandra loved real New England Fish and Chips, Johnny Mathis, raising kittens, working hard, having fun with her 3 sisters and had a very prim and proper way of looking away from the camera in almost every picture taken of her.

The family would like to thank the staff and medical professionals at Christopher House, JHC Hospice and PACE Program, all of Worcester, MA, Skip at Dell Park Cemetery, Natick, MA, and Andrew at Pickering and Son Upton Funeral Home, Upton, MA.
