Robert
Norman Stanhope, 70, died May 21, 2012, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort
Pierce. He was born in Calais, Maine, and lived in Port St. Lucie for five
years, coming from Bellingham, Mass. He was a veteran and served in the
National Guards. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Doris Jean Stanhope of
Port St. Lucie; father, Martin Stanhope of Fort Pierce; sons, Robert E.
Stanhope of Worcester, Mass., Robert J. Cook of Blackstone, Mass., Timothy C.
Stanhope and Daniel P. Cook, both of Bellingham; daughters, Garry Jean
Frederick of Bellingham and Denise D. Cook of Mendon, Mass.; brother, Martin
Stanhope of Port St. Lucie; sisters, Irene Creasia of
Woonsocket, R.I., and Carol Manivaring of New
Hampshire; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death
by his brother, Jerry Stanhope. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure
