Paul Edmund Lovezzola

Mr. Paul Edmund Lovezzola, 79, of Bloomingdale, GA, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Paul was born in Natick, MA to the late Renee & Grace Brown Lovezzola. He was the owner/operator of Lovezzola’s Pizza Family Restaurant since 1978, but most of all, he was a family man. Paul was orphaned at the age of 12 and from that point on, always would seek out people for advice for a means of survival. Paul served in the U.S. Air Force and always supported the “working people”. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He will always be remembered as a “people person”, a hard worker, and for always having a story to tell. Most of all, Paul would like to thank the people of Pooler and others that supported his restaurant all of these years. He thought so much of the citizens of Pooler that he faced his restaurant towards Pooler instead of I-95. He gave all the credit for his family and his business to God.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Juanita Lovezzola; children, Steven Paul Lovezzola (Sara), Sherri Lovezzola (Frances Morris), and Tim Lovezzola (Tiffany); grandchildren, Kayla, Kevin, Keith, Kassie, Brandon, Ashley, Tristen, Talen, and Trace; brother, Jack Lovezzola, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass to celebrate Paul’s life will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022 in the chapel of the funeral home with visitation following the service.
