Joe O'Sullivan, age 22, was killed in an automobile accident in Shrewsbury on October 29, 1965. His funeral took place on November 1,1965 in Leominster at St. Leo's Church with burial in the parish cemetery. Although a resident of Leominster, Joe commuted to Natick High School with his younger brother, Michael, and his dad, Jim O'Sullivan, who was a teacher in the Industrial Arts Department. Joe was very creative and his participation in school activities utilized his talents including A'Capella Chorus, Science Fairs, and Junior Prom and Christmas Cotillion Decoration Committees. Following graduation, Joe attended Northeastern University for a few years and transferred to Fitchburg State University where he was in his senior year. Joe will always be remembered for his great personality, friendly smile, sense of humor, and as one of Natick High School's most loyal supporters.
