Geri Piccioli
September 10, 1943 ~ February 22, 2024
Geraldine A. (Piccioli) Sciacca, 80, of Natick
passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024. Daughter of the late Aurelio and
Frances Piccioli (Ciccarelli). Beloved wife and high school sweetheart (Natick
HS class of 61’) for over 61 years to Natale Sciacca. Devoted mother to Natalie
Sciacca (Curtis Gekle) of Concord, Lisa Losurdo (Matthew) of Natick and son
Michael Sciacca (Kelly) of Northborough. Loving grandmother of Christian,
Bradley (fiancé Katie), Hunter, Olivia and Parker Losurdo, Callie (fiancé
Rylan) and Reid Gekle, Elizabeth, Grace, Siena and Joseph Sciacca. Sister of
Loretta Scholl, Raymond Piccioli and the late Edward and Roger Piccioli. Also
survived by many nephews and nieces.
Geri was full of life with an abundance
of energy. She had a passion for cooking, especially Italian food and she loved
to bake. Everyone was family when they walked through the door, and all were
ensured to leave well fed.
Geri had a creative side and loved
crafting, often replicating elaborate crafts by simply looking at something she
admired. In her earlier years she took delight in crocheting, many will be
comforted by the abundance of throws and other items she crafted over the
years. She had lots of energy and seemingly ran circles around everyone. She
enjoyed exercise and walked virtually every morning, rain, shine, sleet or hail
with her cousin, Judy for over 30 years, enjoying coffee and conversation. She
loved to shop and was always in fashion. She had a passion for reading and
loved to serenade with her singing, especially in her later years. Geri spent
her summers and weekends in Wareham and many winters in Englewood, Florida
together with her beloved husband Nat.
She enjoyed socializing and adored being
surrounded by those she loved, whether during her customary Wednesday night
pasta dinner at the Sons of Italy, embracing life to the fullest out with her
Mezzo Pazzo crew or cherishing her regularly reoccurring date night with the
love of her life. She enjoyed hosting parties and was well known for the
many years of her annual Christmas festivities. She appreciated travel
and went on several cruises and trips to many parts around the world. She
had a passion for reading and her quick wit made everyone laugh.
Her contagious laughter will continue to
echo and may we carry the light of her love in our hearts, honoring her memory
by embracing life's joys with the same warmth, grace, and enthusiasm she so
beautifully exemplified.
