Gail Waddington Cornish

Gail (Waddington) Cornish, 74, of Holliston, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018. She is survived by her sons, Ben Cornish and his partner Charles Buckley, of Boston, and Donny Cornish, of Holliston. She is also survived by her siblings Nancy Ryan of Natick and David Waddington and Barbara Carpenter, both of Arizona, as well as many nieces, nephews, and very dear and close friends. Gail was predeceased by her husband, Donald Guy Cornish in 1993.

A graduate of Natick High School, Gail was trained as a bookkeeper and specialized in legal bookkeeping.  She supported  multiple firms and attorneys in the Metrowest and Greater Boston area, many whom she worked with for more than 20 years. She remained actively working until late 2017.

Additionally, Gail was one the first employees of Bertucci’s in Holliston when they opened in 1986, remaining there for just shy of thirty years. From both professions, her colleagues became extended family and she loved them dearly.
