Fred enjoyed softball, bowling, and playing cards. He was an avid New England sports fan and spent most Sundays watching nonstop games with his family. Fred loved to visit Cape Cod and would never miss a Fourth of July weekend in Dennisport.

In addition to his hobbies his number one passion was his love for his grandchildren. He was known as Bumpy to them and he flourished them with love and gifts every moment he could. The grandkids were his pride and joy.
