NATICK:
Donna (Duboyce) Saponaro,
age 69, a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, died peacefully at her Natick
home on Tuesday morning, July 31, 2012. She was the devoted wife of Paul Saponaro who died in May of 2011.
Born, raised and educated in Natick,
Donna was a daughter of the late Harold and Elsie (Bower) Duboyce.
She and Paul were married in 1961 and settled in Framingham where she created a
warm and loving home for their growing family.
Donna was a dedicated member of the
Joseph P. Keefe Regional Technical School Boosters Club for many years.
Employed with a temp agency after her children were grown, she enjoyed working
in various capacities with several area businesses. A family oriented lady,
Donna was happiest when surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was
always ready to lend a helping hand and well known for her love of patriotic
items, collecting antiques, Elvis Presley Music and sending greeting cards.
Mother of the late John Saponaro, she is survived by three sons, Paul Saponaro of Milford, Michael Saponaro
of Natick, and Daniel Saponaro and wife Michelle of
Natick; three daughters, Cynthia Saponaro of
Framingham, Dawn Ferro of Millbury, and Carolynn Lidbeck
and husband Marcus of Sweden; her daughter-in-law, Jodi of Bellingham; seven
grandchildren, Courtney, Kyle, and Carson Saponaro,
Natalie and Mikaela Lidbeck,
and Nicholas and Sofia Saponaro; three sisters,
Suzanne Fronk and husband Michael of Woburn, Karen
Randall of OH, and Cherri Duboyce of NH; a brother,
Alan Duboyce of NH; and many nieces and nephews. She
was also the sister of the late Harold Duboyce, Jr.
Her funeral will be from the John Everett
& Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street on Natick Common, Natick, on Saturday,
August 4th at 9:00a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Patrick’s
Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow at Glenwood
Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be Friday, 4 – 7p.m.
