William D. Saponaro of Framingham, a certified public accountant, died Monday at home. He was 60.

 

Born in Boston, he grew up in Natick and graduated from Natick High School in 1960 and Bentley College in 1965. Mr. Saponaro also lived in Holliston and worked as a CPA for 32 years in Natick.

 

He was a member of the Holliston Planning Board for 13 years and served as chairman for three years. Mr. Saponaro was a member of the finance committee of St. Patrick's Parish, treasurer of Kids Connect and captain of the Massachusetts National Lancers and served with the National Guard. He was a member of the Natick Council No. 79 Knights of Columbus and served as council recorder, chancellor and deputy grand knight.
