Edward Prior

July 8, 1942 – August 31, 2003

Natick – Edward D. Perior, 61, of Natick, died Saturday, August 31, 2003. at MetroWest Medical Center in Natick. He was the husband of Valerie C. (Cristoforo) Shea Prior.

He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Natick. He was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine(Sullivan) Prior.

He worked for more than 25 years for the Chrysler Corp. Distribution Center in Natick and Mansfield. He attended the Natick school system, graduating from Natick High School in 1960.

He was a member of the Natick Lodge of Elks and the Natick American Legion Post.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Edwrad D. Prior Jr of New Hampshire, Michael Prior of Milford, Christopher Prior of Sun City, Ariz. Beverly Prior of Natick; stepdaughter, Kathy Zappelli of Seattle; two sisters, Lillian Wade of Pennsylvania and Ellen Gove of Medway; a brother, Peter Prior of Holliston; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother of the late Joseph Prior Jr.

A funeral Mass will take place Thursday, September 4^th, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Natick.

There are no visiting hours and the burial will be private.
