John Gowen

August 29, 1942– May 27, 1971

NATICK - John K.Gowen IV, 28, of 16 Eliot st South Natick, died Thursday. Born in Washington, D.C. he lived most of his ,life in Natick and graduated from Natick High School in 1960. He graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1964 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and did graduate work at the University of Oregon.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John K. Gowen III, and a sister, Miss Mary Anne Gowen of South Natick. His maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William J. Thatcher of Weymouth and his paternal grandmother is Mrs. John K. Gowen II of Washington D.C.

The Funeral will be Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at the Mitchell Funeral Home, 105 North Main St., Natick foliowed by a Mass of the Resurrection celebrated at the Sacred Heart Church, South Natick at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery in South Natick. Visiting hours will be Friday 3-4 and 7-9 p.m,
