Rae Copan

October 7, 1942– May 31, 2011

Rae Marie Potter, age 68, of Port Orange, passed after a long illness on Monday, May 31, 2011 in her home. A private memorial is planned for a later date.

Rae was born in Newton, Massachusetts to Thomas and Rachel Copan. She dedicated her life as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed NASCAR, the Florida sunshine and beaches, playing Nintendo, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She was a good hearted, loving and generous woman who put her family above all else. She leaves behind to cherish her memories a husband of 31 years, Gordie Potter; two sons: Shawn Potter and AT Pearson; a daughter: Kelly Potter; two grandsons: Kyle and Austin Potter, of which she was extremely proud of; and a sister, Cherie Lavoie-Serotta.
