Allan:
Hey, thanks again
for your ongoing work on behalf of our Class. As to your request: My bride and
I are twenty-three years into retirement and our sixtieth of marriage, living
on Cape Cod with Children and Grandkids next door. Growing up in South Natick,
rich in all things but wealth, I could not have imagined where my life would
take me and certainly not to a comfortable retirement, good health, wintering
in Florida and occasional travel. I know that many of our classmates enjoy
these same priceless blessings and that is certainly the best news of all!

Random thoughts from the Salt Marsh on a
gloomy Tuesday. Lately I have been picking away at small jobs around the
Compound, the kind that tug at you when you walk past but that you put aside
for the moment but are most rewarding when you finally get them off your
honeydew list. Our new flag pole continues to give pleasure while the
replacement hummingbird feeder hangs unused . . . where are the Hummers??? I
finally got the lawn sprinklers to function after replacing two of the heads
and setting them a bit deeper to prevent interaction with the lawn mower! Most
of the summer people had taken up residence in our neighborhood and beach
parking is mostly full on weekdays. A new lumberyard,
Koopman’s, has opened just a mile down the road which will save us time the 20 mile round trip to Home Depot. RuthAnn & daughter Cheryll visited the Pelham House for an early dinner which
proved to be disappointing at best featuring mediocre, overpriced food and an
indifferent staff. Our 2006 Toyota Sienna was treated to a new exhaust system
and will be heading to Falmouth Toyota for a timing belt replacement at the 180,000 mile mark. Neighbors Captain Bergeron and John
Hamilton both dropped off fresh caught Striper at our house on the same day . .
. what a feast!!!!!! So, Summer is on the horizon and the good times with
Family & Friends that follow, so stay well & try to behave! Bob

This summer I had a nice visit with Anna
Thompson and Judy Buckler. I was staying in New Bedford for a week, so
they came and spent the day. We had a great time. I've attached a
picture of the three of us.
