Robert E. Thompson, 26, of 9 Wilson Street, was killed and his wife, Jane Marie Thompson, 30, was critically injured early Saturday morning when their car crashed into a tree and pole on a curve on West Central Street.

 

Mr. Thompson was born in Framingham and had been a resident of Natick the past year. He was employed as a baker at the Continental Baker Co. on Speen St.

 

He leaves his wife, Jane (Hession) Thompson; his parents, Howard and Ina (Richard) Thompson; three brothers, Richard of Natick, Michael of Stoughton, and Peter of Natick; a sister, Mrs Betty O’Leary in California, and a stepson, Donald Riley of Natick.

 

The funeral was held Wednesday from the McCarthy Funeral Home, with a Mass of requiem at 9 o’clock in St. Patrick’s Church. Burial was in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
