WESTBOROUGH- Richard K. Anderson, 69, of Westborough, died unexpectedly on Wednesday November 17, 2010 at the UMass Memorial Healthcare- University Hospital, in Worcester.

Born in Natick, he was the son of the late Emil K. and Eleanor (Smith) Anderson. He was a 1959 graduate of Natick High School and attended Dartmouth College.

Mr. Anderson was the owner of Plumb House Inc.

He was a member of the Chapel of the Cross, was a member and past president of Associated Builders and Contractors, the Merit Construction Alliance and a past board member of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority. He enjoyed biking, sailing and skiing.

Richard is survived by one son, John K. Anderson and his wife, Christina, of Wrentham, one daughter, Sarah A. Badway and her husband, Anthony, of Westborough; two brothers, Robert T. Anderson of Natick and Kris L. Anderson of Panama City, FL; one sister, Ellen Beaupre of Concord; four grandchildren, Rachel, Jacob and Tess Badway and Jordan Anderson; and a dear friend, Helga Coffey of Northborough. He was the brother of the late Lee Steffann.

His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Cross, 160 Flanders Rd., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 22, from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Chapel of the Cross, 160 Flanders Rd., Westborough.
