Patricia A. Beebe, 59, of North Easton, and formerly of Holliston and Natick, died Thursday, August 3, 2000, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, following a brief illness.

 

Born in Arlington, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Doris C. (Hurley) McClosky, and she was the stepdaughter of the late Kenneth V. Pinkham.

 

Mrs, Beebe was a former member and past president of the Holliston Child Study Group and a former Girl Scout leader in Holliston.

 

An avid golfer, she was a former member of the Manchester (Vermont) Country Club. She was past president and current member of the Saddle Hill Country Club in Hopkinton, as well as a member of the board of directors of the Cape Cod National Country Club.

 

She leaves her daughter, Virginia E. Beebe of Holliston; her son, W. Scott Beebe of Ashland; a sister, Joan M. Leone of Natick; two brothers, her twin brother, James S. McClosky of Natick, and Kenneth V. Pinkham of Upton.; one aunt, Virginia Busteed of Lebanon, Maine; three grandchildren, Brody W., Taylor S., and Anderson I. Mankus, all of Holliston; and her former husband, Don C. H. Beebe of Holliston.

 

She was also the sister of Peter B. McClosky, who died in 1987.

 

A funeral will be held Monday, August 7, at 11 a.m., at the Fisk Memorial United Methodist Church, Walnut Street, Natick. The Rev. Michael Clark, pastor of the church, will officiate.

 

Visiting hours will be Sunday, August 6, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., at the Mitchell Funeral Home, 105 North Main Street, (Rte. 27). Natick

Pat was always Pat, her attitude never changed, she lived life to the fullest and always had time for friends and family.

My last memory with her was a PJ party weekend at her home in Eastham a few years ago. We were like teenagers all over again. We crammed into my car and headed for Provincetown and the rest was history rewritten.
