NATICK: Jeanne F. (Tessier) Stanton, 76, died peacefully and comfortably with her daughter at her side on Friday, January 12, 2018 following a period of declining health.

She was born in Natick on November 4, 1941 the daughter of the late Alfred Tessier and Josephine M. (Latour) Tessier.

Jeanne was the beloved wife for 37 years of the late Thomas A. Stanton who died on October 2, 2013.

She is survived by her devoted and loving daughter Mary-Jo Ploetz and her husband Brian Ploetz of Ashland. She was the cherished grandmother of Olivia F. “LivvyPloetz of Ashland, whom she adored. She was the sister of Katherine Blockerberger of Florida and the late Norman, Arthur, Roland and Richard Tessier; Barbara Kelly; Teresa Rupert and Lucille Parker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Jeanne has been a lifelong resident of Natick and graduated from Natick High School with the Class of 1959. For many years, she was the Administrative Secretary at the Parish office of St, Zepherin Church in Cochituate before retiring. She has been a lifelong communicant of St. Zepherin Church and active in the former Womens Club, the church fairs and helped wherever needed. Jeanne enjoyed crossword puzzles, being at home and was devoted to her family who was the center of her life. Her most enjoyment came with the time spent with her beloved Livvy. Jeanne will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of the lives that she touched.

Visitations will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte. 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Parish at St. Zepherin Church, 99 Main St (Rte. 27), Cochituate Village, Wayland.

Interment will follow in the Stanton family lot in North Cemetery in Wayland.
