MEDWAY
- David F. Hughes, 53, of Medway died yesterday in University of Massachusetts
Hospital, Worcester.
He leaves his wife
of 31 years, Ruth F. (Furey) Hughes; a son, David J. Hughes of Medway; three
daughters, Suzanne Hughes of Franklin, Kathleen Sansoucy of Southboro and Karen
E. Hughes of Medway; two brothers, Michael B. Hughes of Framingham and Paul A.
Hughes of Sutton; and a granddaughter. He was born in Newton,
son of Francis E. and Blanche I. (Bertrand) Hughes, and lived in Natick before moving to
Medway 25 years ago.
He graduated from Natick High School
in 1959 and received a bachelor's of science degree in business from Northeastern University. He served in the Air Force
from 1959 to 1963, stationed in the Panama Canal Zone
as a member of the Military Police Division.
Mr.
Hughes was a marketing consultant with International Data Group Co. in Framingham. He also was a
photographer and had some of his work published in National Geographic,
Reader's Digest and other publications.
The funeral will
be held Saturday from Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St., with
a Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph's
Church, Village Street.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's
Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Memorial contributions may be made to the New
